FAST FOOD ALL-STARS
A few days ago, I had a craving for some plain ole’, bad for your arteries, fast food. But I realized I wanted to get a certain item from one restaurant and something else from another restaurant. The quest would take me driving all over town for food, hence negating the “fast” in Fast Food. But here was my lineup for the perfect fast-food meal:
MAIN ENTREE:
- ARBY’S Roast Beef (w/ Horsey Sause)
OR
- 5 to 8 WHITE CASTLE Cheesburgers (if on East Coast)
SIDES:
- McDONALD’S French Fries
AND/OR
- KFC’s Popcorn Chicken
BEVERAGE:
- BURGER KING’s Cherry Icee
OR
- McDONALD’S Shamrock Shake (in March)
DESSERT:
- WENDY’S Frosty Dessert
AND/OR
- McDONALD’S Apple Pie (FRIED like they did in the old days, not baked like today. I heard it’s still fried in Seattle.)

wendy’s 5 piece chicken nuggets with tons of honey mustard sauce and a chicken caesar salad. burger king’s whopper junior and strawberry shake. and a mcchicken from Mcd. there isnt that wide a variety of fast food in boston. but i really cant get it anyway, cuz my arteries are already clogged!
(i am not stalking you but somehow we are on xanga at the same time…..i am sure there is some cosmic meaning in all this.)

One stop at a classic east cost/jersey mall food court and you could have fulfilled your heart’s desire.
also gotta give props to arby’s beef n chedder on onion bun..and mcD’s softserve icecream!!!!!

I think a&w has / had those too. Watch out for the mucho-hot filing though. You still want to taste how sweet it is.

oo, i haven’t had fast food in ages. now i want them all! arrgh!
No In-n-Out huh? How about Farmer Boys or Knowlwood Hamburgers? (all in Cali). In case you go back to China or Asia, the Mickey D’s Apple Pies are still fried there. I love those things!

GROSS.. but.. the only thing i agree with is the fried apple pies.. =D they have those at the McDonalds in Taiwan still.
I am strangely attracted to the deep fried McD’s apple pies. They still have them in Japan too. I even took a picture of it before happily making it disappear. But I haven’t posted it on my xanga yet.

I’ve never eaten at Arby’s, but the place always reminds of a Simpson’s quote from the Das Bus episode–”I’m so hungry I could eat at Arby’s!” Although I’ll take your word that Arby’s roast beef sandwich is worth craving for, I still can’t shake off that Simpson’s quote
Other then that, I totally second McDonald’s french fries and KFC, even in spite of McDonald’s being McDonald’s and the unknown reason(s) of why KFC no longer states “Kentucky Fried Chicken.” Oh, and cherry Icees rock!

Frosties and Mickey D’s apple pies are at the top for me, too. So, KFC’s popcorn chicken is a year-round thing in the US? Cuz on Guam that’s only around every three months or so.
i actually arby’s uses a pretty lean cut of the roast beef that puts it on the considerably more healthy side of things than most fast food. now the horsey sauce… that’s another thing.

Come to hawaii ,our McDonald’s breakfast is portugeuse sausage,eggs and rice,It taste great!!!!Mainland will be eggs,hashbrowns and link sausage,YUCK!!!!PLEASE COME DOWN !!!!
Parry, if you’re ever in Texas or The South, go to WHATABURGER http://www.whataburger.com/… they still serve FRIED hot apple pies which taste exactly like old skool McD’s pies… maybe even better!

I think McDonald’s in Pleasanton, CA still fries their apple pies.
